    The Wines of Provence Tour
This tour draws a bead on the most exciting wines of a far-flung region. It encompasses Bandol, Cassis, the Cotes de Luberon and Provence and the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. Through it, you will explore some of the most promising producers in the company of a knowledgeable bilingual guide, and sample the charms of Provençal country-side, culture and cuisine.

This tour begins with a TGV (high speed train) three hour trip from Paris to Marseilles, from where you will be driven to near-by Cassis for an initiation at the beautifully situated Presqu'ile restaurant with its wonderful views of the Mediterraenean and Cape Canaille. There you will begin your tastings of both Cassis whites and Bandol reds, accompanying a memorable bouillabaisse. For those of you who wish to stock your cellars here, Paris Luxury Tours also provides facilities for shipping your purchases home. Later we will visit the Domaine Tempier in Bandol, for further tasting of some of the best reds of Provence. We proceed east to Aiguebelle, outside Levandou, where we will spend the night at the sumptuous Les Roches hotel and will have the opportunity to dine at the nearby one star Le Sud restaurant with a meal construed with Cotes de Provence wines.

Our second day begins with a tasting of whites, roses and red Cotes de Provence at the Domaines Ott. Later we drive north to the Domaine Richaume, just east of Montagne Ste. Victoire, for a tasting of Cotes de Provence red, white and rose wines. We take a break from tastings with a late afternoon stroll in Aix-en-Provence, prior to driving northwest to spend the night at the beautiful Moulin de Lourmarin Hotel. There you will have a meal conceived with syrah and viognier Cotes de Luberon wines at the hotel's two starred restaurant.

Our third day begins with a short drive north to Bonnieux, to visit the Chateau de la Canorgue for a tasting of their outstanding Cotes de Luberon wines. We will have our last meal at the charming starred Petite Maison restaurant in the nearby village of Cucuron, where we continue our discovery of Cotes de Luberon wines. Our last tasting of the tour follows in the afternoon with a short drive to Lambesc where we will visit the Domaine Beates for a tasting of their Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence wines.

Our tour ends in the near-by Aix-en-Provence TGV terminal, where we catch a TGV (high speed train) 3-hour ride back to Paris.
