Custom tours: if you do not find in our tours menu a tour of Paris, a tour from Paris, a Brittany tour, Normandy tour, Loire tour, Burgundy tour, Provence tour, Bordeaux tour or a guided wine tour in France that appeals to you, then tell us what you need, and we will custom design an itinerary specific to your interests. Pick-up and drop-off: we collect and deposit our clients at the address of their choice in Paris or anywhere else in France.
Duration of our tours: our day tours are designed to provide a full day of entertaining touring, usually performed in two four hour segments, with time off for a leisurely lunch that we do not count in the eight hours. Our overnight tours provide multiples of the same.
Bilingual guides: for each of our guided tours in France we provide perfectly bilingual guides who speak native English, and are university graduates who have lived equally long times in France and North America. They are therefore able to relate to the cultures and customs of each, and can put at your disposal a wealth of information related to the theme of your Paris tour, France tour, or wine tour in France.
Professional drivers: our bilingual guides also are professional drivers, licensed by the French state.
Luxury vehicles: each of our guided tours in France has its unique requirements, so we will select with you an upscale vehicle from a large fleet of BMW, Mercedes, and Chrysler automobiles that is perfectly suited and luxuriously comfortable. It will be driven by your personal bilingual guide, who is also a professional driver, licensed by the French government. For larger groups, we provide chauffeured luxury minibus services. Accommodations: for our Paris tour, France tour and France wine tour clients, we offer free assistance in selecting and booking hotels matched to your personal taste and requirements, drawing on our vast knowledge of hotel services available in Paris and France (23 thousand altogether). We also assist with short-term furnished apartment rentals.
Restaurants: whether at bistros for our Paris tours, or in charming country inns for our tours from Paris, we suggest restaurants that provide superb cuisine at affordable prices. For our tour clients, we also offer free assistance in choosing and booking restaurants for the times when they are not touring with us. The cost of meals is not included in our tour costs.
Museum passes and Versailles Day Passport: for a small surcharge, we will procure the Paris Museum Pass, the Versailles One Day Passport and deliver them to the address of our Paris tour and France tour clients before they arrive. These passes offer economies and convenience, such as immediate entry, without having to queue, at many museums and monuments in and near Paris. To see where they are accepted, click here.
Paris Visite Pass: this is a special travel pass entitling the holder to unlimited travel on metros, buses, RER trains and SNCF Ile-de-France trains. Choose a 1-3 zone pass for travel within Paris, or a 1-5 zone pass to include links to the airports, Disneyland and Versailles. Passes can be obtained for 1, 2, 3 or 5 consecutive days, starting on any day of the week. Reduced rates are available for children aged 4-11 inclusive. For our Paris tour and France tour clients we can procure the Paris Visite pass and drop it at their Paris address, where they are ready to use as soon as our clients arrive. Air travel: for our guided Paris tour and escorted France tour clients we offer private jet charter services for air transportation to and from Paris and France, as well as jet, turboprop and helicopter charters throughout France. Our services are provided by some of the most experienced and reliable companies, experts in providing luxurious and discreet services at the most reasonable possible prices.
Special Services: for our guided France tour clients, we arrange balloon tours in the Ile de France, the Loire Valley, Champagne, Burgundy, the Dordogne, Auvergne, the Rhone Valley and Provence. We also arrange luxury cruises on French rivers, barging in the French canal network, and organize private yacht charters throughout France. We also set up, special events: care to dine at the table of a French aristocrat in Paris, or spend a few days as a guest in a private castle?---Paris Luxury Tours arranges all of these.
Tour prices: our prices cover our provision of a bilingual guide and an upscale vehicle for one full day of touring, fuel, tolls and parking. They do not include entry fees (where applicable), snacks, drinks, meals or accommodations.
Ordering PLT tours: all of our tours require full payment or a deposit of 50% at the time of booking. For those paying deposits, the balance is due one week prior to the tour or in cash in euros to your guide at the time you are collected for your tour. Prepayment is required because we commit to the provision of your guide and vehicle when we confirm your tour.
Payments: we accept payments by check or deposit in the US dollar equivalent of our Euro costs, using the latest exchange rate, to our account at the Bank of America. We do not normally process credit cards.
Cancellation policy: we refund 90% of payments made for our tours upon receipt of a written request, provided that the cancellation is made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date of the tour. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to commencement of a scheduled tour are not guaranteed any refund, depending on the specific circumstances.
Liability: Paris Luxury Tours accepts no responsibility for injury or inconvenience that may occur during one of its tours. Clients are advised to procure their own insurance commensurate with their requirements.
